Questions & answers

BulletTowTT frequently asked questions

How our rates and quotations work, what to expect on arrival times and tracking, and how Trinidad to Tobago goods transport is handled.

Rates and payment

How much does a tow cost?
BulletTowTT does not publish one flat islandwide price. Every job is priced from the actual service required — the truck type, the vehicle condition, the pickup point, the delivery point and the road distance between them. The amount you owe is confirmed on the job before payment, so you always see the figure attached to your reference number.
Why is my quotation different from someone else's?
Two jobs on the same road can need different equipment. A flat-tyre assist, a locked-wheel recovery and a full vehicle transport are not the same work. Distance, access, time of day and truck availability all move the number.
How do I pay, and what currency is used?
Card and PayPal payments are processed in USD. Every completed payment produces a receipt in your account under Payments and Receipts. Amounts are verified on our servers — never from the browser — so what you are charged always matches the recorded job.
Do I get a receipt?
Yes. Once a payment is captured, a receipt is generated against the job reference (format BT-YYMM-NNNNN) and stays in your account history.

Timelines and tracking

How long before a driver reaches me?
Arrival time depends on where you are and which trucks are online. When your request is dispatched, BulletTowTT ranks available drivers by actual road ETA — not straight-line distance — and the assigned driver's ETA is shown on your job screen. That ETA updates as the driver moves.
Can I see where my driver is?
Yes. Once a driver accepts your job, you can follow their live position on the map from your job page until the vehicle is delivered. Location sharing is limited to the driver assigned to your active job.
What do the job statuses mean?
A job moves through a controlled lifecycle: requested, searching for a driver, assigned, accepted, driver en route, driver arrived, loading, in transit, delivered and completed. Each change is recorded with a timestamp so there is a full history of the job.
Can I cancel a request?
You can cancel while the request is still being matched or before the driver begins loading. Cancellations are recorded on the job history. Once a vehicle is loaded or in transit, contact dispatch instead of cancelling.
Do you operate at night?
Coverage depends on the drivers online at that moment. If no eligible truck is available in your area, your request stays in the queue and dispatch works it manually rather than silently failing.

Inter-island transport (Trinidad → Tobago)

What can BulletTowTT move between the islands?
Approved goods: building materials, furniture, appliances, household items, business equipment and similar approved cargo. Restricted, hazardous and prohibited goods are not accepted.
How does an inter-island quote work?
You submit a transport request with the collection point, the delivery point, the goods details and quantities, photos or documents where useful, and your preferred date. Our team reviews it and returns a quotation. Nothing is scheduled until you accept that quotation.
How long does inter-island transport take?
Timelines are driven by sailing schedules and cargo readiness, so a delivery window is confirmed with your quotation rather than promised up front. Your transport job then reports its own status from collection through to delivery.
Can I track goods on the sea crossing?
Sea movement is reported as a transport status, not a live vessel position. You will see collection, in-transit and delivery updates on the job.
Do you handle business, fleet and insurance accounts?
Yes. Business, fleet and insurance accounts can have authorised members, shared service history and consolidated records and receipts for repeat towing and transport work.
